Di Petsa is feeling maternal for SS27At London Fashion Week, the Greek designer’s latest collection was a jaw-dropping ode to motherhood, featuring a surprise appearance from Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s breast milkShareLink copied ✔️September 21, 2026September 21, 2026Text Isobel Van Dyke Di Petsa SS27 It's the final day of London Fashion Week SS27 but the shows aren’t over yet. We’ve still got Burberry to go, and earlier today we saw the latest collections from Selasi, Tolu Coker, and newcomer Liza Keane. Greek designer Di Petsa also hosted her SS27 runway, and wow, did she put on a show. She’s a designer who knows a thing or two about going viral – whether she’s enlisting Mia Khalifa to walk the show or instructing models to kiss people on the front row – and today, she delivered easily the most jaw-dropping finale of the season. A moment you’ve likely already seen on social media, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock closed the show, showing off her baby bump in a Greek goddess-like two-piece. She stopped mid-runway, surrounded by models, before milk began to spurt from her breasts. She turned on the spot as the liquid poured out of her, dosing the models crouched on the floor around her. It was a surreal moment, but an apt one for a collection titled Holy Milk. Two models carried real-life babies down the runway (their own, we’re assuming). One model paused to kiss her partner, who held their baby on the front row. At one point a mature female model accompanied a younger male model, potentially a mother and son duo. Meanwhile, another couple walked hand in hand, before passionately making out in front of the photographer’s pitt – almost giving us a lesson on how babies are made. While Di Petsa herself doesn’t have any children, this was her way of communicating a more abstract vision of motherhood. “We are pregnant with our own self,” she explained. “We give birth to different versions of ourselves when we grow too large inside us to be hidden and then again will be reborn.” We can’t wait to see what she births next.
