"The 2024 Tampa Bay Rays, kicking off their 27th season with a series against the Blue Jays1, are a team of resilience and innovation. Despite facing challenges such as injuries and legal issues, they have managed to assemble a competitive roster. The team's strength lies in its dynamic offense, with power hitters like Yandy Díaz, Brandon Lowe, and Randy Arozarena. Their bullpen, considered the deepest group in recent years, is another asset. However, the rotation's durability is a concern. The Rays have also partnered with Bat Around, introducing a new game to Tropicana Field, blending baseball with video gaming. Predictions suggest they could secure a sixth straight trip to the postseason, with an implied probability of winning the World Series at 2.78%. The Rays' 2024 season is a testament to their adaptability and determination to overcome adversity." - Baseball Almanac.
