Membership policies and guidelines
The APS membership policies and guidelines oversee the eligibility and processes for membership.
APS agrees to extend reciprocal membership privileges to individual members of the Institute of Physics, and the Institute of Physics agrees to extend reciprocal membership privileges to individual APS members.
APS supports students and early-career members through up to 15 consecutive years of discounted dues pricing: four years of Undergraduate Student eligibility, six years of Graduate Student eligibility, and five years of Early-Career eligibility.
