One Direction‘s debut album “Up All Night” was released less than six months ago, but the U.K. vocal group is already moving on to its second full-length. The album artwork for the group’s “Take Me Home” was released Thursday (Aug. 30) and features the five well-dressed singers climbing on top of — or, in Niall Horan’s case, trapped inside — a bright red telephone booth.

Following their 2010 formation of the U.K. version of “The X Factor,” One Direction — made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles — scored a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart when “Up All Night” bowed with 176,000 copies sold in March, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The debut marked the first time a U.K. group started at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with its debut album.
With 1.1 million copies sold, “Up All Night” is currently the year’s second-biggest selling album in the U.S., behind Adele’s blockbuster “21,” which has moved 3.9 million copies this year. Meanwhile, “What Makes You Beautiful” is 2012’s seventh-largest selling digital song, with 3.3 million downloads.
After wrapping up a U.S. tour in July, One Direction is slated to headline a handful of stateside shows at the end of the year, including a performance at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Dec. 3. Part of the group’s 2013 world tour has already been announced, with a 25-city run through the U.S. scheduled to kick off on June 13, 2013 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and wrap up on Aug. 7 in Los Angeles.
