This document has two configuration guides for two different CPU platforms:

1. Intel (Intel Virtualization Technology, Intel VT-x)
2. AMD (AMD Secure Virtual Machine, AMD SVM)

This process will need a keyboard and monitor to access the BIOS. Please connect them to the Turbo NAS.

How to enable Intel Virtualization Technology, VT-x

Step 1: Start the Turbo NAS and press the F2 key until the BIOS screen is displayed. Then go to “Advanced” > “CPU Configuration”.

Step 2: Go to “Intel Virtualization Technology” and select “Enabled”.

Step 3: Go to “Save & Exit”, select “Save Changes and Reset”, and you are finished.

How to enable AMD Secure Virtual Machine, SVM

Step 1: Start the Turbo NAS and press the F2 key until the BIOS screen is displayed. Then go to “Advanced” > “CPU Configuration”.

Step2: Go to “SVM Mode” and select “Enabled”.

Step3: Go to “Save & Exit”, select “Save Changes and Reset”, and you are finished.
