Battery charges declined; evidence insufficient
The State Attorney's Office refused to charge Vince McMahon with battery on Friday, citing insufficient evidence stemming from a woman's claim that he harassed and groped her at a Boca Raton tanning salon Jan. 28.
An employee of Tanazabar Tanning Salon, 499 N. Federal Highway, filed a police report stating that McMahon, 60, chief executive of World Wrestling Entertainment, came to the shop and showed her some nude photos of himself from his camera cell phone before a tanning session.
The report said McMahon tanned for about 20 minutes, then, despite her rejection, followed her into a room, groped her and tried to kiss her.
