Celtic Legend Henrik Larsson Subs Himself On For Helsingborgs Against IFK Malmo … And Scores
Former Celtic star Henrik Larsson was clearly bored during his side’s friendly tonight as he grabbed a kit and subbed himself on.
The former Sweden international – who now manages home-town club Helsinborgs – was watching his side take on IFK Malmo and, as many players were on international duty, decided to help out.
However, with Larsson’s scoring record during his playing career, it should have been no surprise to see his name on the scoresheet in Helsinborgs 7-1 victory.
Larsson scored his 89th goal for the Allsvenskan side after netting 88 during his playing career there spread across two terms in the 1992/93 season and 2006-09.

Speaking after the game Larsson said:
Yes, it was fun. There were not enough people in the squad at all. We have some people on the national team and so we had some people injured, it was not planned, but it was just so.
