- JI Jin-hee is a man of sensitivity. When he played MIN Jeong-ho in <Jewel in the Palace>, a government official who found true love with [LEE Young-ae]’s character, this true gentleman added luster to his character. The combination of his trustworthy face, low-key voice, and gentle manners attracted many female fans in Asia where <Jewel in the Palace> was aired. Although he was typecast as a gentleman, he took a rare turn to unlikely roles such as <Miss Kim Makes 1 Million> and <Bewitching Attraction>, trying on a quirky and uncharacteristic image. He revisited his intellectual image in <The Old Garden> and expanded his scope of acting switching between a gentleman and a weirdo. He appeared in <Parallel Life> getting in touch with his usually serious side and gave a good laughter in <Runaway From Home> playing a music critic who was in search of his wife who ran away the day before he declared a divorce on a live radio show.
