Polo is an indigenous sport of India which has been played in Jaipur for centuries. This is a replica of the night polo ball in the museum collection. It is made from brass and is hollow inside. Inside the ball is a platform where a candle is placed. This platform rotates with the ball and the candle illuminates the ball thus making it visible in the dark.
