  • And this means..
  • There not that much difference.
  • I'm always been a Xbox person . Xbox is way better than the PlayStation
  • While spec discussions are nice and all...games are what make a system. It's as simple as that.
  • WAIT! Xbox One doesn't come with an AV OUTPUT!?? What the hell! I'm using my AV output to play the Audio of my games trough my speakers! My TV speakers suck! One more turn down.
  • Both sound like great systems, but my next console will be a PS4. After the first year or so.
  • I'm not a super tech geek, is there a major difference between DDR3 and DDR5 RAMM?
  • I'm lost
  • It cannot be over emphasized how significant of a step up the PS4 Ram is above the Xbox.
  • I don't understand why Microsoft continues to use Wi-Fi as its primary connection to controllers and other devices.
  • The difference in specs seems negligible to me. I still have a feeling its going to be a matter of preference for most buyers. I'm sticking with Xbox because I'm familiar with it and I have a lot of my time and effort invested in Xbox already. I've been nothing but happy with my Xbox experience and I am definitely going to continue on with the brand into the next gen.
  • Well I guess Playstation supports the fact that I don't have an HD tv, so I guess me and sony are stuck with each other.
  • Perhaps this comes only due to my serious lack of tech savviness, but the tech specs are entirely of no concern compared to game line-ups. What disappointed me most about X-Box One (besides it's dumb name) was that there weren't any exclusives that I cared about, much less that many exclusives at all that I won't just be getting on next-gen. If I do bother getting a next-gen console THIS year, it's PS4, especially if FF XV is announced for it.
  • Not much of a difference, but based of what we know, the One has the slight edge...and when I mean slight I mean minuscule.
  • I've always been an Xbox person, but seeing as though the PS4 gets the full 8Gb of RAM for gaming as opposed to the Xbox's 5Gb for games, I will probably be getting a PS4 before I get an XboxOne. I am obsessed with good game graphics.
  • Too close for it to matter, which is a good thing. Porting from one console to he other will be trivial. Now it's up to the devs to make use of these specs.
  • Looks like Sony has the edge again due to that tasty memory setup, but I hope they drop a Tera HDD in there. Need the space these days...
  • Seems like again its pretty close with Sony having a slight edge same as this current cycle it just comes down to preference and exclusives. So who do you want to give your money to. I'm going Sony. They have been good to me this generation so I will continue to support. For my particular preferences I think the ps4 is better fit for me. But I'm sure XBox One will make all of its owners happy. Very exciting times can't wait for it.
  • So the xbox is using DDR3? Interesting.
  • It looks like they are pretty much the same, with little differences here and there.
