Following the first batch of exportation of 580 Xiali cars at the beginning of this year, FAW exported another 920 Xiali cars to Mexico on Jun 7. The export of Xiali cars shows closer cooperative relationship between China FAW and Mexico SALINAS, and a substantial progress on the sales of economic cars for the two partners.

The deal of export of 920 Xiali cars should be dated back the exposition of Auto Shanghai 2009. When GSD��s delegation saw the new models of Xiali and Vita at Auto Shanghai 2009 they showed great interest on these new versions, and thought these models should be in good sale at Mexican markets. Thus they decided to have business talk with Tianjin Xiali branch and China FAW Group Import & Export Corporation immediately and signed purchase order of 920 Xiali cars with FAW following the negotiation. GSD is a special company of Mexico SALINAS, responsible for the import and sales of Xiali cars.  One month later, Tianjin Xiali branch finished Xiali��s production, commodity inspection and customs clearance, 920 Xiali cars were sent to Mexico on Jun 7. 

The export to Mexico is quite important at such a special time. The ongoing financial crisis and the influenza A (H1N1) result in Mexican economy depression. Major Mexican industries are all involved at the crisis, especially the automotive and financial industry.
