Matthew Moss | The Armourer's Bench on X: "A very interesting video showing a range of obsolescent small arms including a Polish PPS-43, a PPSh, an M1 Thompson, an SKS, SVT-40, an RPK and a Mosin-Nagant. The original caption suggests the weapons were given to a Luhansk separatist unit. 1/ #UkraineRussianWar #Ukraine"

The small numbers of weapons shown & the variety of different types look more like a representative collection. If they're intended for issue/use is unclear. They are likely from the Soledar mine storage depot where former Lend-Lease Thompsons were seen. youtu.be/ApFT-pLcAXQ

Taken from Wagner stocks. These were the same weapons shown captured in the soledar salt mines. Thompson out of the wrapping paper specifically looks like they were handed out directly from captured Wagner stocks. Not surprised if Wagner never used them but kept them for resale.
