Jurgens is 4.576 this year and 14.9 next year. Johnson is kind of up in the air. My guess is 21m this year, something like 12m in 27 and 14m in 28 with a 4m cap credit in 27 as well. All depends on how much of his option he keeps. Since he only played 3 games im guessing not much

@Jason_OTC just for clarification what is the expected dead cap hit combined for the 2 years for Lane and the dead cap hit combined for the 2 years for Jurgens

No its based on not extending last year and letting him be a ufa in 26. Comp in 27. cost is $0 to philly since no raise in 25 and no bonus for 26

The comp pick like 3 years from now? When he was going to be benched for Kendall and who knows if his back will even hold for another 3? C'mon now lol

They basically paid $17m for a 2 and 5. Many would be taken to task for that decision matrix when the alternative would have neen a 3rd or 4th comp pick for free

Trade: Eagles are sending two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 7th-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 5th-round pick and a 2028 2nd-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

There is far too much being made of the cap charges associated with Lane Johnsons retirement and what are actual cap disasters. A cap disaster is not a 36 year old ot retiring where worst case is something like 17m dead in 27 and 26 in 28 which are basically same numbers as him
