Barron Trump Debuts Dramatic Makeover After Report Exposes His Secret Girlfriend of Over a Year

Now, it seems Barron Trump hasn’t escaped this reality. The youngest son of President Donald Trump has reportedly adopted a very different look since becoming a student at New York University.
Barron is currently enrolled at the NYU campus in Washington, D.C., and recently, he was photographed looking less put together than usual.
No suits, no coats, and no hair gel. Instead, Barron was wearing a white Ralph Lauren polo shirt, a pair of beige chinos, and a brown leather belt. He was also spotted with a black backpack. He also seemed to be debuting a new haircut, sporting loose, flowing locks— a marked departure from how he normally wears it.
Barron’s rare appearance coincides with reports about his desire for a private personal life. Not much is known about him publicly, but his mother, Melania Trump, has often opened up about him.
In her 2024 self-titled memoir, Melania described Barron as someone who “possesses a rare combination of intelligence, charm, and diligence.” She added, “He had remained resolute in his character and values even through the whirlwind of changes and challenges that accompanied his father’s election and presidency.”
During a December 2024 appearance on Fox & Friends, Melania further opened up about her son’s role in Trump’s presidential campaign that year. “He was very vocal, and he gave advice to his father, and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to.”
She also claimed that Barron would have an atypical college experience, including having Secret Service agents around.
“I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student,” she said. “His experience at college is very different from any other kid, and I’m very proud of how he’s handling it.”
“He knows that he’s in different position than other children,” she added.
Nearly two years later, Melania offered another update on Barron. On a September 2026 episode of Fox Business’ The Big Money Show, she opened up about their relationship. “It’s less and less the family time. It’s suffering because of it,” she explained. “But that’s OK. We are here to work, to do a good job, and that’s what matters. And Barron is already a young man, so sometimes he’s maybe even happy that, you know, I just want to do my stuff. And that’s OK.”
Barron’s appearance and Melania’s comments come amid reports that Barron has had a girlfriend for over a year. At the time of writing, not much is publicly known about her.
Trump previously said he didn’t think Barron had a girlfriend, but it’s been at least a couple of years since that remark. Speculation about his dating life has been ongoing since a TikTok video from a woman named Maddie, who claimed to have been his “first” girlfriend in high school, went viral.
