We kinda got goosebumps when Bold & Beautiful‘s Will told Dylan she was “his girl” and later referred to her as his girlfriend, but wasn’t he just at the Forrester mansion begging Electra for another chance a week ago?! Was there a time jump?

Image: CBS screenshot
3/94

Erm… While sitting with Young & Restless’ Victoria, Claire got a text from Holden asking her to hang out, and happily took off. The only problem? Just a day before, Stephanie told Nate that Holden had gone on a trip to London to spend time with Malcolm. Whoops!

Image: ABC screenshot
4/94

Didn’t it seem kinda cold that General Hospital‘s Portia wouldn’t extend her visit to Pentonville with Des because it was the baby’s naptime? We get that nobody wants a mini-meltdown, but Curtis is missing the first weeks of his son’s life!

Bold & Beautiful’s Steffy was crying and absolutely miserable throughout the entire conversation about her possibly being Daphne’s donor and surrogate, and yet her friend just continued to gush in delight and thank her. Not only could Daphne not read the room, but she also failed to question why her husband was speaking for Steffy and cutting her off repeatedly. The dumbing down to enable this plot is wild!

Image: Peacock screenshot
6/94

Question for Days of Our Lives’ Philip: How many hundreds of millions of dollars would it take to actually make a call to tell your loved ones the news rather than sending a text and throwing your phone to the side? At the very least, check to make sure the message went through if it’s that important!

From Redditor user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/GeneralHospital/comments/1wmtnu4/comment/pb9yjg4/" General Hospital’s “Jason is so funny acting like the break-up was his decision. Like nah, he fully expected that after telling Britt he can’t trust her, they would just continue being a couple. She broke it off, as she should have!”

Image: CBS screenshot (2)
8/94

Catty as Diane’s remark was, didn’t she also have a point when she congratulated Young & Restless rival Nikki on “being so confident despite having no inventory or brand recognition” at Vibrante?

Image: CBS screenshot
9/94

While collecting evidence from Beyond the Gates’ Bill and Hayley’s house to test for poison, Dani only took a tiny bit of Bill’s liquor but dumped the entirety of his snacks into her plastic bag. Did she really think Hayley wouldn’t notice a once-full bowl suddenly being empty? Especially if she actually did poison them?

Image: CBS screenshot
10/94

Speaking of Beyond the Gates’ Dani sneaking around, how happy are you that someone finally figured out what Hayley is up to? Now, if only Bill can put two and two together.

Image: CBS screenshot
11/94

So, according to Bold & Beautiful’s Sheila, Taylor isn’t giving Deacon the love he deserves because she won’t marry him. But Sheila did marry him and he ended up unhappy and cheating. Is that the kind of love she’s talking about?

Image: Peacock screenshot
12/94

Are we sure Brady’s really cut out for this P.I. business on Days of Our Lives? If Dr. Rolf isn’t leaving clues about the chess set, is it really that difficult to figure out who else was deeply loyal to Stefano and would be doing his bidding after death? Hello! Rita, anyone? Brady seemed way too stumped by that!

Image: ABC screenshot
13/94

How relieved were you that General Hospital’s Rocco and Scout thwarted Charlotte’s icky plan to “catch” Drew with an underage girl?

Image: CBS screenshot
14/94

Young & Restless’ Phyllis has complained to Nick that her kids scrutinizing her and ditching her was the reason she started hanging around with Matt Clark. Has it occurred to her that glomming onto a violent rapist who terrorized Summer’s dad and his family might make matters even worse?

Image: CBS screenshot
15/94

Wasn’t it sweet when Beyond the Gates‘ Randy sincerely thanked Izaiah for getting late pal Doug’s daughter Deanna to go back to school? Maybe Mona’s right about Joey’s henchman after all.

Image: CBS screenshot
16/94

“Steffy agreed to be our surrogate.” “Steffy already has her eggs frozen.” Do you flinch every time Bold & Beautiful’s Carter opens his mouth now, fearing how much worse he’ll make things for Steffy?

Image: Howard Wise/JPI
17/94

How exciting was it to get a Gloria mention on Young & Restless this week? Of course, it was only to explain Chloe’s absence at the upcoming wedding, but we couldn’t help but think we’d rather witness the hijinks of the Baldwin/Fisher family on that cruise than whatever’s going on in Genoa City. Gloria’s energy is so missed!

Image: Peacock screenshot
18/94

Now that we’re all but certain Days of Our Lives’ Joy is faking her paralysis (somehow), she’s roped her poor, oblivious dad into her scheme. So does this mean we’ll get to see Craig soon? If he gets wind of what’s going on with Joy, he’s going to have a lot of questions about why she needed a muscle relaxer!

Image: ABC screenshot
19/94

We love that General Hospital’s Valentin put his foot down with Charlotte after her horrendous plan to seduce Drew, but is it a bit too little, too late? Val’s spent most of his life showing his daughter the worst, most dangerous ways to handle a situation. No wonder she keeps putting herself at risk!

Image: CBS screenshot
20/94

Who but Young & Restless’ exiting headwriter Josh Griffith would make a new company part of Nikki’s excitement at having a new beginning after her five minutes of blindness? How much longer till the new writers’ material airs? (<a href="https://soaps.sheknows.com/soaps/news/843924/cbs-soap-fall-preview-young-restless-new-writers-start/"
Image: CBS screenshot
21/94

… but how hilarious was Beyond the Gates‘ Andre as he tried to rescue Izaiah from a thirsty Hayley?

Image: ABC screenshot
22/94

Sorry, Tracy, but what? General Hospital’s Willow deserved to be framed for Curtis and Jordan’s accident because she was chasing after Brook Lynn’s husband?!?

Image: CBS screenshot
23/94

How long is Bold & Beautiful’s Finn going to have to reassure people that Sheila is out of his life every time he tries to start a conversation?

Image: Peacock screenshot
24/94

So when Days of Our Lives’ Sophia was planning to fake her own death, she even took the time to call the crisis hotline over and over again? Either she really was suffering more than we realized, or that girl was thorough in plotting her fake suicide!

Image: ABC screenshot
25/94

X user <a href="https://x.com/jessren/status/2102463821587825036" “OK. No. I’m one of the people who didn’t mind the idea of Rocco/Scout because they were only psuedo-step for two years and have spent the last two years apart, but … she can’t still call him her brother if they’re going to date. Pick one, General Hospital.”

Image: CBS screenshot
26/94

Young & Restless’ Jack and Diane are always fretting over the possibility of Kyle running afoul of Patty. But, um, how much security do they have on grandson Harrison? Should somebody maybe warn granddaughter Allie, or do we just not talk about her anymore?

Image: CBS screenshot
27/94

Dear Bold & Beautiful, would it be possible to go one Sheila episode — just one; we don’t ask for much — without a reference to her toes?

Image: Peacock screenshot
28/94

Now that’s a look we don’t see on Rita’s face very often on Days of Our Lives: unsettled! Who else wanted to stand up and cheer when Kayla threatened EJ to Rita’s face? “Any kind of retaliation or intimidation won’t make EJ’s problems go away. I’ll make sure of that.”

Image: ABC screenshot
29/94

Is anyone else in the mood for some yoga? Between General Hospital’s Britt, Anna, Emma and Felicia’s visit and Dante and Lulu talking about how he’s benefited from doing it with Liz, we feel like maybe we could use some mindful movement, too!

Image: CBS screenshot
30/94

In what universe would Young & Restless’ Sally ask the woman who cheated with her boyfriend behind her back to be a bridesmaid at her wedding or expect her husband-to-be to have the man who ran over his daughter in attendance? The writers are doing Olympic-level gymnastics with this bizarre plot twist… and <a href="https://soaps.sheknows.com/the-young-and-the-restless/news/844853/will-adam-deliver-sally-baby-wedding/" know exactly why.

Image: CBS screenshot
31/94

Wasn’t the explanation Beyond the Gates’ Caroline gave Hayley as to why Bill kept running back to Dani — to spare his current wife the sight of him at his weakest — smart and believable? No soap on the air today is smarter than this one.

Image: Howard Wise/JPI
32/94

We know why Bold & Beautiful’s Daphne needs Steffy’s egg for a pregnancy, but why would she also need a surrogate? Would she not want to have the egg fertilized by Carter and implanted in her womb so she can carry her own baby? Seems like a big hole in the storyline!

Image: CBS screenshot
33/94

Young & Restless fans, wasn’t that one big-ass table for a little chitchat?

Image: CBS screenshot
34/94

World-renowned Bold & Beautiful shrink Taylor can “sense” that something is off with her daughter. Is that supposed to be impressive? You could be in a coma and still not be able to miss the fact that Steffy is having a nervous breakdown all day every day!

Image: Peacock screenshot (2)
35/94

As Redditor user <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/DaysofOurLives/comments/1wmcvtv/comment/pb7e18l/" asked, “Why didn’t we get a face-to-face convo between Theo and Gabi? The actor was on the show today. It made no sense to me.” We saw Days of Our Lives’ Theo at the beginning of the episode with Alex — around the square, no less — but then got a one-sided call a few minutes later with Gabi talking at him off screen. What? Why? Did we hit our shirtless Theo limit for the day?

Image: ABC screenshot
36/94

How awesome is Tracy? Even scolding Danny, the General Hospital matriarch revealed why she’s so hard on him — “because you’re worth it to me.” Aww.

Image: CBS screenshot (2)
37/94

Haven’t Young & Restless‘ Kyle and Victoria overnight visits become the most enjoyable part of any given episode?

Image: Peacock screenshot
38/94

Is anyone else hoping that whoever actually does end up with the Kiriakis mansion on Days of Our Lives, it’s at least getting a makeover? That place is starting to look a little rundown and depressing!

Image: ABC screenshot
39/94

Gee, wasn’t it big of General Hospital’s Jordan to say that “it’s not entirely Brook Lynn’s fault that everything spiraled out of control”? Brook Lynn wasn’t kissing her significant other when she should have been watching the road (Jordan was), and Curtis didn’t punch Isaiah because of the accident, he slugged the doctor because he’d made a crack about what a better dad he’d be to Des! For sure, BLQ should have come forward, but she didn’t cause the accident or throw the punch.

Image: CBS screenshot
40/94

When Aunt Jordan’s birthday popping up in her calendar unexpectedly triggered Young & Restless’ Claire to worry that her dark side might return someday, we couldn’t help but think it was foreshadowing of what will happen when she inevitably discovers her mother is sleeping with her ex!

Image: CBS screenshot
41/94

How bittersweet was it that Beyond the Gates’ Ted could tell from Nicole’s smile that she was sexting with Kial?

Image: CBS screenshot (2), Howard Wise/JPI, Disney
42/94

Bold & Beautiful often has Sheila say she just wants to be loved. So why not have her get on an app and go on a few dates, only to find out that no one wants to wine and dine a notorious maniac? There are certainly enough great soap vets out there to line up a guest cast of unattainable Romeos.

Image: Peacock screenshot
43/94

Does anyone else feel like good old George isn’t much longer for this world on Days of Our Lives? He’s screwed up a number of times, and now that EJ’s made it clear that if all else fails, the pharmaceutical head will be the one going down, it’s looking like his usefulness may soon be at an end!

Image: ABC screenshot
44/94

Couldn’t you just see the wheels spinning in Ava’s mind when the General Hospital femme fatale came up with the idea to pin Jack’s “disappearance” on Carly on the spot?

Image: CBS screenshot
45/94

Has any character ever rocked cooler maternity clothes than Young & Restless’ Sally?

Image: Howard Wise/JPI
46/94

Where is Poppy on Bold & Beautiful? Did the show think it had left her on the backburner for so long that we wouldn’t notice she was now altogether gone?

Image: CBS screenshot
47/94

Where is Bold & Beautiful’s Remy? Is he wearing one of his disguises and hiding in plain sight at Bikini? What?

Image: ABC screenshot
48/94

Is this the same Justine who doesn’t want anybody to know about her affair with Sonny on General Hospital? ’Cause another great place for a make-out session is behind closed doors. D’oh!

Image: CBS screenshot
49/94

Didn’t you just know that Beyond the Gates bartender was getting the chop when he unwittingly offered Uptown’s new owner Heather a drink on the house?

Image: CBS screenshot
50/94

Did the pantsuit Young & Restless‘ Nikki was wearing remind anyone else of Victoria’s drapes?

Image: CBS screenshot
51/94

How the hell did Beyond the Gates’ Joey expect Randy to stop Heather from buying Uptown? As sneaky as she is, she could have made the deal without ever even setting foot in a telltale attorney’s office.

Image: CBS screenshot
52/94

Who the hell does Bold & Beautiful‘s R.J. think he is?! We could hardly believe it when the golden boy told far more experienced designer Zende that his latest sketch for the Electra line had “potential” but need to be “sharpened and focused.” Let’s just say the Forresters deserve whatever’s coming from Logan for setting this pompous ass loose on the other employees.

Image: Peacock screenshot
53/94

Johnny, you’ve been lying and covering up a major crime on Days of Our Lives that resulted in multiple deaths. Plus, you participated in the framing of an innocent person for drug use. That’s great that you’re going to handle this Coriseal mess the “right way” now, but at this point, what could you possibly do that won’t land you in jail?

Image: ABC screenshot
54/94

It’s been a minute since we agreed with General Hospital’s Willow about anything but Drew’s scuzziness, but didn’t you share her reaction to Ava suggesting they work on improving Nina’s living conditions at Steinmauer rather than working on getting her out, period?

Image: CBS screenshot (3)
55/94

As Young & Restless’ Chelsea summed up her faint hope of Adam and Billy at least achieving a level of “controlled snark,” didn’t you think she should dream bigger — like the two of them finally growing up?

Image: CBS screenshot
56/94

Is the open wall in the main room of the house on Beyond the Gates you’re breaking into the best place hiding spot when the owner comes home?

Image: CBS screenshot
57/94

Was it Everybody Wear Brown Day at Bold & Beautiful?

Image: Peacock screenshot
58/94

We’ve been holding off on asking this one, but, um, what happened to the Horton living room on Days of Our Lives? We’ve been exclusively getting this little side parlor for a while now, and we’re starting to get worried the main room is gone! Where would the Hortons hold Christmas?

Image: ABC screenshot
59/94

We knew Sonny couldn’t really be leaving the Mob; it’s his whole identity. Only what, a couple of weeks after General Hospital had him declare himself “a respectable businessman,” and already, he was having a goon named Vito “send a message to someone in Pentonville”?

Image: CBS screenshot (4)
60/94

What do y’all think? Is Young & Restless’ Adam or Billy less pleased about Sally making Chelsea a bridesmaid?

Image: Disney
61/94

Of all the things Dancing With the Stars could cut for time, why are they cutting off the judges’ remarks, and not Julianne Hough’s mostly repetitive interviews?

Image: ABC screenshot
62/94

Didn’t you just know that new General Hospital attorney Monet was gonna be fun from the moment she told Chase she would handle Tracy “politely or… ”? Game on.

Image: CBS screenshot
63/94

Was Beyond the Gates’ Dani accusing Hayley of trying to kill Bill — alone with no means of defense — the best plan? If you believe she’s capable of murder, you might want to at least have back up. Still, how much fun was it to watch Hayley drop her mask and basically admit everything to Dani?

Image: CBS screenshot
64/94

Here, isn’t Bold & Beautiful’s Taylor demonstrating exactly the look one gets when your significant other goes from hi to talking about his ex-wife?

Image: CBS screenshot
65/94

Traci, we’re certain, had much of the audience crying right along with her and Billy as she tried to convince him to allow Jill to come to the wedding and make memories with his ailing mom whatever they might be. Traci once again proved she’s the heart of Young & Restless.

Image: ABC screenshot
66/94

Didn’t General Hospital‘s Kai make pumping iron look so effortless that you were like, “Huh, maybe I should give that a try”? Of course we’d start small by lifting potato chips instead of weights.

Image: Peacock screenshot
67/94

Does Days of Our Lives’ Theo always write in all-capitalization, or did he want Johnny to know that he was yelling his letter of resignation? At least he used a lower-case “i” in DiMera!

Image: ABC screenshot
68/94

We just wanted an excuse to run another picture of General Hospital‘s Des in his letterman jacket!

Image: CBS screenshot
69/94

Who else enjoys Bill’s scenes with his daughters on Beyond the Gates? Say what you will about him as a husband, the man loves his children.

Image: CBS screenshot
70/94

Why did Bold & Beautiful bother telling us Sheila was having issues with her roommate if it was never going to introduce the roommate? We’d certainly prefer to see what it’s like living with the loon rather than hear her go on and on about Finn again.

Image: ABC screenshot, ABC/Courtesy of the Everett Collection
71/94

Did all that yoga on General Hospital flash you back to the ’80s when Richard Simmons was aerobicizing on the show?

Image: CBS screenshot
72/94

Don’t we have to give Young & Restless’ Billy points for self-awareness for recognizing the likelihood that he’d make a scene at his own wedding if Adam was in attendance?

Image: CBS screenshot
73/94

Was Beyond the Gates’ Hayley just going to throw the vial in the trash can mere feet from her? As if no one would see her or her prints wouldn’t be on it.

Image: CBS screenshot
74/94

How many more times is Bold & Beautiful going to recap the entirety of Monaco-gate? We know, we know: Steffy was merrily strolling along with Finn, then she saw Sheila’s… Aw, crap. Now they have us rehashing it again, too! #MakeItStop

Image: ABC screenshot
75/94

Weren’t you surprised that General Hospital’s Trina thought she could be rid of Simon just by blocking him on her phone — until she mentioned that she and Gio had a 90-day trial period during which they could cancel their contracts?

Image: CBS screenshot
76/94

Adam’s “What the hell?” facial expressions on Young & Restless when Chelsea gushed about being invited to Sally and Billy’s wedding was all of us. Hilarious!

Image: CBS screenshot
77/94

How convenient that on the very same day Bold & Beautiful’s Katie, Hope and Deke decide they need another designer, Zende suddenly becomes completely unraveled and frustrated over at Forrester Creations. Funny how that works!

Image: Peacock screenshot
78/94

Could Days of Our Lives be hitting us over the head any harder with how big Dominic Marino’s entrance is going to be? By the time we got to Belle’s “I have a feeling all of this is adding up to something life-changing,” all we could think was that if anyone less than Stefano’s clone walks into town, we’re bound to be disappointed!

Image: ABC screenshot
79/94

Is it just us or did the slight smile on Michael’s face as he rattled off the list of misfortunes that have befallen General Hospital’s Drew undercut his, “Even I can admit you’ve had it rough lately” spiel?

Image: CBS screenshot
80/94

No, seriously. How many times is Young & Restless’ Matt Clark going to announce his imminent departure from Genoa City before he actually leaves? What are we even doing here?

Image: Peacock screenshot
81/94

Does anyone else feel like Days of Our Lives‘ Johnny would be in a lot better shape if Sydney had come home sooner? He’s moping about his options being quitting DiMera or doing what their dad wants and she tells him to “hold the line” and put EJ in his place! That advice would have worked wonders months ago!

Image: CBS screenshot
82/94

Why would Bold & Beautiful’s Katie declare that Dylan isn’t “Spencer material” when she came from nothing and became a Spencer herself? The story should make some kind of sense at least!

Image: Peacock screenshot
83/94

We know we’re supposed to be taken in with how spiffy Days of Our Lives‘ Leo looks in his suit, but how could we not be distracted by the duo investigating the mysterious Horton Town Square Flower Cart? We know we’ve asked this before, but what is it? Are they buying? Admiring the decorative flowers? They were buzzing around for the entire date, plus Sydney and Johnny’s catching up!

Image: ABC screenshot
84/94

How savage was Monet’s greeting for Jordan on General Hospital? “If it isn’t my big sis! Ooh, is that… a new look?”

Image: CBS screenshot
85/94

Did Young & Restless‘ Jack really try to write off Diane’s fears about Patty by saying that life is full of “risks and dangers”? Nuts as it was, he did. Buddy, there’s getting hit by a bus or being diagnosed with an ailment, and then there’s being pursued by, as Diane called Patty, “a bleached-blonde psycho”!

Image: CBS screenshot
86/94

How badly do you want to know what’s on the video Beyond the Gates‘ Andre showed Joey?

Image: Howard Wise/JPI
87/94

If Katie’s the new Stephanie on Bold & Beautiful, then Will and Dylan must be the new Ridge/Brooke and Electra, the new… Taylor?

Image: Peacock screenshot
88/94

Can anyone remember why Days of Our Lives‘ Cat was assigned to EJ in the first place? Wasn’t it because the FBI and ISA suspected him of using the hospital as a front for something — which has since come to light and been shrugged off? At this point, fine, great, quit, Cat! We lost track of what this was all about other than “Let’s catch EJ doing something” a long time ago!

Image: ABC screenshot
89/94

Isn’t it nice to know that even if General Hospital’s Sonny is (allegedly) going legit, he’s still the same ruthless person, willing to play dirty, threaten Ava to fall in line with Avery and promising to turn their own daughter against her? Ah, what an upstanding citizen.

Image: CBS screenshot
90/94

This Beyond the Gates story can’t possibly be done, but how surprised were you at how quickly things went from Dani realizing what Hayley was up to, to Hayley getting arrested for attempted murder?

Image: CBS screenshot
91/94

Whoa… it looks like Bold & Beautiful‘s Forrester Creations is indeed in serious trouble. Especially given that these numbers went down even after Eric dropped his latest collection. Can R.J.’s Electra line really turn this mess around?

Image: ABC screenshot
92/94

When General Hospital‘s Chase told Willow the only way he and Brook Lynn could even begin to repair their marriage was to move out of the Quartermaine mansion, how fast did your head spin around? Brook Lynn offered him that option, and he told her that her family was only part of their problems, and where they lived wouldn’t fix them all. Make up your mind, Chase!

Image: Peacock screenshot
93/94

P.I.? Eh, the jury’s still out. But caretaker? No one does it better than Days of Our Lives‘ Brady! Or as Redditor user brutaldictatortot put it, “Say what you will about Brady, but at least he’s considerate. Literally every time he enters a scene, he’s bringing someone coffee or food to help them feel better.”
