Hayley Busts Dani Snooping Around Her House — Plus, Naomi and Chelsea Find Out About Bill

Nicole meets with Jacob at the police station to discuss the profile she created about The Impaler. Summing up Nicole’s assessment, Jacob states “he” is a cold-blooded, charming egomaniac. Nicole adds that these types of people don’t like to be challenged; therefore, carefully pushed buttons could lead to “his” downfall. Nicole declares she’s done with the case after this, considering Jacob has been questioning her son-in-law, Smitty.

Everyone’s Keeping Secrets

After Bill lies to Hayley about where he is, and Madison lies to Chelsea about why she can’t meet for dinner, Madison urges Bill to tell his family so she doesn’t have to keep lying to his daughter. Bill implores his doctor not to tell anyone else until they know more, which they hopefully will after his EEG.

Summoning Caroline to the hospital, Bill takes her into his confidence so she can run interference with his wife. But he also wants to know how Hayley’s feeling about having an older, ill husband.

Surprising Madison with takeout at the hospital, Chelsea spots Caroline leaving. Madison is forced to admit she’s treating Bill, but can’t give her specifics. Chelsea’s understanding, but when Madison gets called away, Chelsea finds Bill’s hospital room on her own.

Dani Enlists Naomi’s Help

After calling Naomi over, Dani hires her daughter as her attorney so she can’t tell anyone else about Bill’s health condition. She then drops the news we’ve all been waiting for someone to figure out: Hayley has been poisoning Bill! Naomi adds fuel to Dani’s seething fire by revealing Hayley faked her ultrasound and knocked tea meant for Bill out of her hand. Dani decides to get hard evidence by breaking into his and Hayley’s house, thanks to Naomi giving her the alarm passcode. To keep Hayley away, Naomi texts her stepmother/former friend to meet up.

Busted!

Upon sneaking in, Dani pilfers Bill’s snacks and liquor to get tested and then finds the safe. She takes photos of Bill’s prenup and the documents naming Hayley as the sole beneficiary of his $10 million life insurance policy. “Bingo!” she exclaims.

Naomi urgently texts Dani warning her that Hayley is on her way home, but Dani doesn’t see her phone. Frantic, Naomi calls Jacob to go to Bill’s house, where Hayley catches Dani trying to hide from her.
