Thanks to @emmatyping Python now has zstandard support in the standard library 🥳 See PEP 784 for more information. I'm adding preferential support for the compression.zstd module over the zstandard package from PyPI, one day we'll deprecate our [zstd] extra after we drop support for Python 3.13.
