Prepares the v1.12.0 release (minor bump).
Why 1.12.0 (minor) and not 1.11.1 (patch)
Since v1.11.0, the notable user-facing change adds new exported API, which is a backward-compatible feature per SemVer:
MarshalJSON/UnmarshalJSONonatomic.Pointer[T](add json support to Pointer #180)stretchr/testifyto v1.12.1 (chore(deps): update stretchr/testify to 1.12.1 #213)The remaining commits are Dependabot CI/tooling bumps and typo fixes. Adding exported methods rules out a patch release.
