The Actions workflow added in #213 runs the same suite across the same four Node versions, so CircleCI is redundant. Branch protection now requires the Actions contexts instead of the CircleCI ones. Actions also runs pull requests from forks with a read-only token and no secrets, which CircleCI does not do without a project setting that, if paired with secret passing, would hand a fork's branch the project's credentials. The README badge carried a live circle-token query parameter. It was committed in both the README and the template that regenerates it on every pack, so it shipped in every published tarball. The badge is now the Actions one, which needs no token. The CircleCI token itself still needs revoking, since removing the file does not recall the tarballs already published.

Adds a GitHub Actions CI workflow running the suite across Node 20, 22, 24 and 25, as the replacement for CircleCI.
Opened primarily to exercise the
pull_requesttrigger before the workflow lands onmain— a workflow that is not yet on the default branch cannot be run any other way.Third-party actions are pinned to commit SHAs rather than tags, since this workflow runs on pull requests from forks and a tag is mutable. The job requests
contents: readand no secrets, so a fork branch gets the same read-only token.CircleCI removal, the branch-protection context swap, and the README badge (which currently carries a live
circle-token) follow once this is confirmed green.
