Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was given five minutes to ask Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg anything she wanted, and boy did she make the most of them.

On Wednesday, Zuckerberg testified before the House Financial Services Committee to answer questions about everything from Facebook's data to the company's plans for that cryptocurrency project, Libra, but when the time came for AOC to face the CEO, she grilled him about fact-checking and Facebook's controversial ad policy.

AOC asked Zuckerberg some challenging questions — which she crowdsourced from Twitter — about the Cambridge Analytica data scandal, Facebook's policy of allowing politicians to lie in on-site ads, and what his plans for the social media site are ahead of the 2020 election.

"Could I run ads targeting Republicans in primaries saying they voted for the Green New Deal?" she asked, to which Zuckerberg replied, "Congresswoman, I don't know the answer to that off the top of my head."

When she asked if the CEO sees "a potential problem" with the "complete lack of fact-checking on political advertisements," Zuckerberg replied, "Congresswoman, I think lying is bad." He then reiterated his past argument that he doesn't believe Facebook should remove ads that contain lies because people should be able to see those lies for themselves.

You can watch the entire exchange above, but be warned, AOC leaves Zuckerberg fumbling for words.
