CppCon, The C++ Conference 2026 - Day 6: The Final Day And just like that, CppCon, The C++ Conference 2026 came to an end. On the final day, I attended some of the last technical talks and keynotes of the conference, including a really interesting session on a 6000 FPS Game Boy Emulator. The conference wrapped up with the final talk, “Your Next 20 Years of Systems Engineering” by Andrei Alexandrescu, which felt like a fitting way to close out an incredible week of learning, conversations, and new ideas. Looking back, CppCon, The C++ Conference was much more than just attending technical sessions. I had the opportunity to present my own work to the C++ community, learn from engineers and researchers across different areas, and connect with so many people throughout the week. I’m extremely grateful to CppCon, The C++ Conference for giving me the opportunity to present my poster and for providing me with a scholarship to attend the conference. A special thank you to Daniel Hanson and Mark Hoemmen for their guidance and support throughout the conference. I’m also thankful to all the CppCon volunteers and committee members who worked behind the scenes to make the entire experience run so smoothly. One of the most memorable parts of the week was getting the chance to meet and learn from people such as Bjarne Stroustrup, Guido van Rossum, 🖥️ Matt Godbolt and many other influential members of the software engineering community. Just as importantly, I got to meet and connect with many fellow students, engineers, researchers, recruiters, and attendees from across the industry. Those conversations and connections were a huge part of what made the conference so valuable. CppCon, The C++ Conference 2026 was an experience I’ll remember for a long time, and I’m really glad I had the chance to be a part of it. I’ll definitely be back for the next CppCon, The C++ Conference, scheduled to begin on September 18, 2027 and I'm already looking forward to it! I’ll share more about my poster and the project behind it in my next post. #CppCon #CppCon2026 #Cpp #SoftwareEngineering #QuantDevelopment #TechCommunity
