from openai import OpenAI

client = OpenAI(
  base_url="https://api.lanox.ai/v1",  # Change this line

response = client.chat.completions.create(
  model="gpt-5.6-sol",
  messages=[{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}],
)

print(response.choices[0].message.content)

Point the Base URL to LanoX, add your API Key, and keep the OpenAI-compatible request structure.

Multi-Model AI API FAQ

Find out how the multi-model AI API works, what it costs, and how to connect your favorite tools.

01What is a multi-model AI API?

A multi-model AI API gives you access to multiple model families through one account or integration layer. You can keep a familiar workflow and choose a text, image, or video model for each task, while checking the live catalog for availability and endpoint support. Start using the multi-model AI API by creating your API key.

02How is an LLM gateway different from a direct provider integration?

A direct integration makes you manage each provider's account, credentials, billing, and API differences separately. A gateway adds a shared access layer so you can change models, centralize usage, and reduce provider-specific setup.

03Who is LanoX designed for?

LanoX is built for independent developers, AI startups, SaaS teams, technical leaders, and content teams that want multiple AI models under one account, with clearer pricing and less provider-specific setup.

04Why are some models priced below official prices?

LanoX prices may be lower than official prices because the current channel rate differs by model. Compare the same currency, unit, and billing options before choosing a model.

05Will the model I specify be replaced with another model?

Use the exact model ID from the live catalog and verify each call in your request records. Similar models are not presented as the same model; actual routing and exception handling follow the live rules and response.

06Can I connect Codex, Claude Code, and similar clients?

Configure the endpoint, API Key, and model ID using the interface supported by your client. Codex, Claude Code, and OpenAI-compatible clients use different settings, so follow the matching integration guide.

07What happens when an upstream model is temporarily unavailable?

Check the error message and model status, then retry or choose another model. Your app's retry and routing settings determine how it handles an unavailable model.

08How are free models and new-user trial credits calculated?

Free models, bonus credits, and paid balance are labeled separately. Eligibility, amount, validity, and deduction order follow the current published rules and your actual account records; campaign terms may differ.
