Xbox Is Testing Dynamic Pricing for Its Game Pass Subscription for Select Users
Yearly Pricing.
Players have recently reported that Xbox is testing a dynamic pricing feature on its platform for Game Pass (via Insider Gaming). According to a post on r/XboxGamePass, a user got offered a yearly subscription to Game Pass Ultimate at a discounted rate of $16.09 (₹1,520.41) and not the usual $22.99 (₹2,172.42).
Another user u/Much_Comfortable_378 on the same thread pointed out, "For those curious, if you log in to a secondary account on your Xbox, one that doesn't pay for Game Pass, then you will see an offer like this. My offer was $18 (₹1,700.89) something for 12 months." Other comments on the same thread suggest that the offer varies from about $16-$20 (₹1,889.88).

However, according to the screenshot, the offer reverts to original pricing after the first 12 months are over. But users who do subscribe get full access to all the features offered in Game Pass Ultimate, including 500+ games, cloud gaming and more.
PlayStation was testing out dynamic pricing too, but not on PlayStation Plus. The company was giving discounts on certain games like Stellar Blade, Helldivers 2 and more. However, many PlayStation users have plenty of complaints about that system.
Another feature that Xbox just came out with, The Digital to Disc feature, has been live since 31 August. This feature allows users to enjoy the digital effects of owning a Physical copy of a certain game on Xbox hardware. As of now, there is a growing list of titles that support this feature. If you want to have a look at all the games that have Digital to Disc support you can check it out on xct.live and look for your games.
