What happens?
The scenario is valid for both left and right
In a blank file comparison, saving the left panel to a new file updates the path bar with the chosen path.
Closing the window then asks whether to save the session: after answering that prompt with Cancel, the window stays open but the left path bar is empty again, so the panel no longer shows the file that was just written to disk.
What did you expect to happen?
The path bar should keep showing the path of the file just saved, no matter how the session save prompt is answered.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a blank file comparison, with both panels empty
- Open a file in the right panel
- Copy a line from the right panel to the left panel
- Close the window
- In the unsaved files prompt, choose to save the left file, then pick a destination in the save panel
- Note the path bar now showing the new left path
- In the session save prompt that follows, choose Cancel
- The left path disappears from the path bar
