Already referencing a newer version of 'Microsoft.AspNet.Mvc' #26
Attempting to install the latest version from Nuget into a recently upgraded v6.2.4 project and I am getting an error and rollback for some reason? uComponents only dependency is UmbracoCms.Core and it's dependency on MVC is ≥ 4.0.30506.0 && < 5.0.0, The version this site is using is 4.0.40804.0 (4.0.0.1) so I'm confused - any ideas?
Hi Simon, I'm not too sure how NuGet handles version dependencies. I know that has been some hoo-ha about that MVC version update (v4.0.0.1) ... I think the Umbraco blog had an update about it?
I'll take a look tomorrow (once at my office), gather links, etc.
I've previously read an applied the MVC update to address another issue. To get around this particular problem I've had to revert back to installing the package via the Umbraco package manager as I couldn't easily find where the dependencies were causing problems.

Hi Lee,
I've previously read an applied the MVC update to address another issue. To get around this particular problem I've had to revert back to installing the package via the Umbraco package manager as I couldn't easily find where the dependencies were causing problems.
Thanks, Simon
