   Is there his something we want to explore now or when we bump to 2.0? The test harness and first passing test is there as a PR. I am recording this as a todo to debase this up to the current master and resubmit the PR

   Feel we cant do this one on its own, it should come together with a new feature (e.g. Angular2). Otherwise its a lot of work without a visible payoff and becomes hard to define a finish line.
