About PRISM

Most researchers work from an incomplete map of their field. They know their corner of the literature well, but the gaps, the unresolved tensions, the methodological problems nobody talks about — those take years of immersion to see clearly.

PRISM is an open-source tool that makes that map visible. It pulls a corpus from PubMed and runs structured AI analysis across five modules: what the field isn't studying, where researchers disagree and why, what's methodologically broken, where the unexplored hypotheses live, and an overall epistemic health score.

I'm an undergraduate researcher at the University of Utah building this as a genuine research tool, not a demo. It's free to a certain limit, open-source, and live at useprism.net.
