Software Gateway support

------------------------

Software gateway provides internet connectivity to virtual machines. It

supports routing between virtual-network and external public-networks. The

Simple Gateway is a restricted implementation of gateway. The features

supported are,

- A compute node provides Simple Gateway functionality for a single

virtual-network

- A virtual-network can ideally have multiple subnets. But, gateway

supports only one subnet per virtual-network

- Relies on the networking stack of host operating-system to route packets

between public-network and virtual-network

Configuration:

Following parameters must be configured in localrc for Simple Gateway:

CONTRAIL_VGW_PUBLIC_NETWORK

Specifies FQDN of the routing-instance that needs public access.

Example: If domain=default-domain, user=admin and vm=public, FQDN is

default-domain:admin:public:public

CONTRAIL_VGW_PUBLIC_SUBNET

Specifies the subnet configured for the virtual-network.

Example: 192.168.1.0/24

CONTRAIL_VGW_INTERFACE

A tap interface is created with this name. The interface is added to

routing-instance of virtual-network. Packets to/from virtual-network

use this interface (Example: vgw)
