I had the same issue with this commented out code above:
The way I fixed it is to enable the unsafe binary formatter in the csproj file. Just put it in the first property group, and it stops it from throwing exception. But, it would be nice if the library can be fixed so that it doesn't use binary formatter anymore though. |

Describe what you were trying to get done.
I am trying to execute some python scripts silently. I have exposed C# methods for progress to be reported back to the .Net MAUI app. When I get to the execution of the python script (pyScript.detect_intial_silence()) the cmd prompt opens up - not text is written to it.
How can I execute the script without the cmd prompt popping up?
