The AUR package calls setup.py, which is wrong - https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=python-sdbus-git

https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/discussions/setup-py-deprecated/

The project is also missing pyproject.toml, which can replace most if not all of the contents of setup.py.

    I have a plan to replace the setup.py and setuptools with the meson-python: https://github.com/mesonbuild/meson-python
