A very brief look at your toolbox indicates, that it might be possible to achieve a fractional octave smoothing of an magnitude spectrum with your toolbox. Is that true?
If so, would it be possible that you could provide a compact example visualizing that, without having to dive too deep into your toolbox for realizing it?! :)
What you describe would result in a singular power value per arbitrarily chosen fractional octave, right?
In that case it is not what I am looking for. I'm looking for a solution to continuously smooth the magnitude response, as described in http://www.aes.org/e-lib/browse.cfm?elib=12070.
I was looking for an existing Python implementation of the described (or an alternative) approach. Do you know any other place where I could look at?
