If you go to a page like https://peps.python.org/topic/packaging/ and try to click on any of the PEPs, you get a github 404, and the URL is https://peps.python.org/topic/pep-0582.

    The problem seems to be the following override:

    peps/pep_sphinx_extensions/__init__.py

    Line 60 in 0ffc781

    app.env.settings["pep_url"] = "../pep-{:0>4}"
