installation fails with missing SwiftDraw.o#62

I tried to install PlotDevice several ways...

  1. Download the Cocoa App. It doesn't start...it never even flickers after double clicking the app icon.
  2. pip3 install plotdevice this fails with clang: error: no such file or directory: 'deps/extensions/svg/SwiftDraw.o'
  3. I tried the source code but it looks like SwiftDraw.o is just missing?

Is there another step needed?

    I looked at SwiftDraw. Unfortunately, I am neither an ObjC programmer nor a Swift programmer. Could someone provide the steps needed to generate the SwiftDraw.o file? I have been jonesing for a replacement to NodeBox for years. I used it to generate animations for CS topics.
