Connecting WebRTC clients with PeerJs: How PeerJS works? #1359

First question: I looked on PeerJS implementation of utils.ts and it configures turn/stun servers as this: The "PeerJS" server informed on the new Peer "host" param does not override the turn and stun servers, right? PeerJs will still use the default stun and turn servers, the PeerJS server in the host exists as third service? I was thinking that the "host" parameter WAS the stun server, but I was wrong. Am I correct? |

Hi
I'm trying to connect a Java android app (non-webview) using google WebRTC to a web peerjs client using a peerjs server running on node.js.
I'm just interested on message passing (json payloads) between the peers, no fancy video/audio.
Is it possible? If so, is there any source material/documentation about PeerJS that you can share? What WebRTC requests I need to make to emulate a peerJS client? Both to signal the server and deal with ICE stuff with peers.
Also I was thinking that a lot of people complain about the lack of support to react-native. Supposing there is a working WebRTC for reactive-native (I doubt that, but...), this can also be useful to someone intending to implement that. Or is such material is already online, please share with me.
Thanks
