Every workspace group opens with a Files tab (the workspace folder view) that cannot be closed: it is created as a permanent tab, the close button and the context-menu close entry are both hidden for permanent tabs, and the close routine itself refuses permanent tabs.
Not everyone needs the folder view taking up a tab slot permanently, and right now there is no way to get rid of it.
The reopen path is missing too: the plus menu offers new file, chat, terminal, browser and voice memo, but no "Files view" entry. So even if closing were possible, there would be no way back.
Suggested change:
- Let the Files tab close like any other tab (drop the permanent flag, or special-case it).
- Add a "Files" entry to the plus menu that reopens the workspace folder view in that group.
- Handle the empty-group fallback: several places in the tab logic fall back to the Files tab when a group has no tabs left, assuming it always exists. With a closable Files tab, that fallback needs a real "empty group" state instead.
