Newly defined arrays not picked up in var list when also setting existing array #334

Open

Description

@gdementen

If I have an array defined,

>>> arr = ndtest((2, 3))

then type in a single (multi-line) command in the console:

>>> arr2 = arr + 1
>>> arr3 = arr2 * 2
>>> arr['a1'] = 0

arr2 and arr3 do not appear in the list.

If I do just:

arr2 = arr + 1
arr3 = arr2 * 2

it works.

    Note that the following already works (picks up arr2 and arr3), so I guess this is only a setitem problem

    def add_vars():
        global arr2, arr3
        arr2 = ndtest(2)
        arr3 = ndtest(3)
    add_vars()
