We are currently working on setting up a Discord server for folks who prefer that. We also have a few different Slack options: Headius Enterprises, the #jruby channel on the Ruby Central Slack, and there's actually an inactive JRuby slack.
We need to sort these out and decide which ones should have an active presence. Then update docs and tell the world.
