Be able to run examples from Maven reactor, without having to install library into local repo #801

It would be neat if the examples could be run locally without have to mvn install the library, first.

Make this a Maven multi-module project, with a reactor.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using mvn install.

Additional context
I'll contribute documentation for how it currently works, which could be updated once this is implemented.
