[step-names] Align step names in aw-issue-clustering.md with glossary/consistency #66012

Description

Step Name Alignment Issues

Found in: .github/workflows/aw-issue-clustering.md (compiled to .github/workflows/aw-issue-clustering.lock.yml)

  • Priority: Medium

  • Current step name: Check out trusted cleanup code (source: aw-issue-clustering.md:47)

  • Why: Breaks the established one-word Checkout <target> pattern used in 44+ of ~300 other lock files (e.g. "Checkout actions folder", "Checkout repository"). This is a sibling occurrence to Check out trusted reconciliation code (line 99) in the same file, which was already flagged in a prior step-naming issue filed 2026-10-05 — this one was missed from that batch.

  • Suggested replacement: Checkout trusted cleanup code

  • Priority: Low (context, not a new finding)

  • Related: Check out trusted reconciliation code (line 99) and Set up safe-output helpers (line 103) in the same file were already covered by the 2026-10-05 filing for the same "Set up"/"Check out" two-word verb-form class. Precedent: issue [step-names] Align step name in daily-geo-optimizer with project-wide "Setup" pattern #30512 ("Set up Python" → "Setup Python") was accepted and completed by maintainers, confirming this class is actionable.

No other new terminology, capitalization, or clarity issues were found in this run's pass over the manifest (/tmp/gh-aw/agent/step-alignment-input.json); previously-retired categories (memory/drive-memory scope suffixing, AIC publish/restore pairing, safe-output singular/lowercase casing) were not re-raised per prior maintainer rejections recorded in cache memory.
