How to set roundness of retangle? #10776

Excalidraw has a "round" vs "sharp" toggle for rectangles (top-left toolbar when a rectangle is selected), but the corner radius itself is not user-configurable — it uses a fixed algorithm. From the source ( // NOTE right now we don't allow configuration and use a constant radius
ADAPTIVE_RADIUS: 3, // Fixed 32px radiusThree rounding algorithms exist internally:
So the maximum roundness you can get on a rectangle is 32px corners (or 25% of the shorter side for very small shapes). To get the fully-rounded "pill" shape in your screenshot, you'd either need a rectangle small enough that 32px dominates both sides, or use an ellipse element instead. There's no slider or input to increase the radius beyond the built-in value at this time. |

You can also try using the boolean operation script. Basically take a rectangle, put circles at the ends, and then join them together with the union operation. |
