sys_monitoring test failure #7633

Closed

Description

@da-woods

It turns out the current main branch of Python has swapped the numbers of PY_MONITORING_EVENT_PY_UNWIND and PY_MONITORING_EVENT_RAISE and so this affects what we see when we sort and print the events.

python/cpython#142186
python/cpython#146182

It's obviously a trivial change and nothing is really broken. The numbers are probably supposed to be opaque, so I guess they can swap them any time they like between minor releases. However, to me it looks like it might have just been a left over part of an earlier version and not strictly necessary.

Therefore I've asked nicely. So it's probably worth waiting to see before rewriting the test.
