Yes, zero-config MS/TP (automatic MAC address) and auto-baud enable a device to join an MS/TP network without having to be configured and using the default Device ID 4194303. The Who-Is service to 4194303, the Who-Am-I replies from the zero-config device or other devices that support Who-Am-I service, and You-Are service are then used to assign a unique site Device ID (instance, identifier) and optionally a different MAC address, by some supervisory device on the BACnet network, to the device receiving the You-Are service message. |

Does bacnet-stack have service/handler for who-am-i/you-are? I didn't see
them when I looked.
