Event list sorted oldest to newest by default #14277

The event list - both the Dashboard tile and the event page - are paginated as newest events on the first page, but with oldest events at the top.

What to do about it?

It looks like this has been around since mid-2024 (4.19.1.0) - I got Claude to go back and find where it changed and it looks like the listEvents was a single query with a sort by newest prior to #8321, where it lost its sort order because searchByIds doesn't have an ORDER BY.

I propose introducing a sort order in searchForEventsInternal.
