As soon as AndroidAnnotations support fragments it would be useful to have options processing in fragments.
The code should be similar to activity's code.

    AndroidAnnotations 2.6, which has been released two weeks ago, already supports Fragments.

    This is a good idea. It won't be exactly similar, the method has an extra MenuInflater param, and we must call setHasOptionsMenu(boolean) from onCreate().
