Describe the bug
When test data in the Cucumber Examples table includes commas, the generated Allure report incorrectly splits the data into multiple columns, disorienting the display of parameters.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Create a project with a feature file.
- Add a Scenario Outline with an Examples table where one or more values contain a comma (,). Example below:
- Run the tests using cucumber-js.
- Generate and open the Allure report.
- Observe that the report splits the data after commas into separate columns.

6. The CSV file generated under allure-results does not escape commas in the test data, resulting in incorrect parsing of CSV columns.
Expected behavior
Commas in test data should be escaped using double quotes so that the Allure report correctly displays the data in the intended columns.
If the commas in test data are escaped using double quotes, the report is in right format
