Escaping full screen mode upon video end does not restore original canvas size #722

Interesting. To confirm, you're only seeing this behavior after the video has ended? If you hit escape earlier, it resets as expected?
That is correct. When escape is hit during the play session, it does reset to the its original size. Not smoothly, but in a couple of steps. When escaped upon end, it typically gets stuck in the first step, and hitting the forward or rewind button once triggers one step each time. See attached video:

When escaping full screen mode after the video has ended, the original canvas size is not reestablished.
Version 4.8.0 (but also recent previous versions).
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I would expect this to restore the canvas to its original size. Canvas is however only to some (and various) degree restored.
OS: Windows
Browser: Vivaldi, Chrome, Edge, Firefox
