Player exits full screen when playlist switches to next video #681

Describe the bug
Hey Guys, I'm trying to create an automatic playlist, but I'm in full screen and I go to the next video and it's not playing the next one while in full screen. You can reproduce this in your own playlist.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to https://ableplayer.github.io/ableplayer/demos/playlist3.html.
- Click on full screen.
- Click play, and wait for the video to end.
- It will place you out of the full-screen mode
Expected behavior
It shouldn't take you out of full-screen mode if you are in full-screen

Milestoning for 4.8. Just tested and this been an issue at least as far back as AblePlayer 4.4, so it's not a regression. I just wanted to ensure it wasn't a regression before determining whether it should be prioritized for the 4.7 release this weekend.

Hey @joedolson, was this released on 4.7, or are we going to wait until 4.8? If it is going to be in 4.8, based on the milestone assigned, do you have an estimated date for 4.8?

No, this is milestoned for 4.8, which is currently scheduled for January 2026.
Remove setFullscreen(false) when rebuilding player

Fixed by 4127407
This is a case where the fix was super simple, in the end, but I was unable to see why the code was there in the first place, so it could have undesirable side effects. I'm not able to see what they would be, however - I can't see any sound reason to change the fullscreen settings when recreating the player.
