Ulauncher is a powerful tool that provides an all in one launcher for numerous different applications and services, in my mind, this aligns very well with Gnome desktop's policy of having everything accessible from the super key, but hidden when not needed.
As it currently stands, having Ulauncher installed creates a fragmentation of using gnome search for some things, and Ulauncher for others. Having all of Ulauncher's integrations available along side the other gnome search integrations would be absolutely perfect. Just hit the super key and start typing.
While I think this would be an awesome upgrade for Ulauncher users on Gnome and is worth being developed by the Ulauncher devs, if this does get rejected, then I'd like to see some sort of API or way of a third party being able to do it instead.
I am fairly new to these things so if something I have said is incorrect, I apologise ^^;
