Problem
The ER diagram can be looked at but not taken anywhere. There is no export, so a schema diagram cannot go into documentation, a pull request, or a CI job that renders it.
Proposed solution
- Export the diagram as DOT, with tables as records, columns as fields, and foreign keys as edges.
- PNG, PDF and SVG export alongside it, at the current layout and zoom.
- Include only the tables currently shown, so a filtered diagram exports as filtered.
- Reachable from the diagram's toolbar and from File > Export.
