It's an open source project. Be nice to the maintainers, they're probably volunteers working on something else. You can try out this alternate cli from the Python ecosystem
See the guide on how to install it here https://gray-adeyi.github.io/paystack-sdk/#/get-started?id=cli
It's doesn't support webhook tunneling for now
It's an open-source repository, but the tool is for a product that we pay for with commission. People are happy to contribute to it, but maintenance should be done by the company. This is of PayPal developer experience, where you are just accepting that this doesn't work sometimes or is buggy.
Well you have a valid point that a product that is paid for should have top of the line tooling but what you have to understand is most of the projects under PaystackOSS are from people who love the company and volunteer to build for it. Most of these projects aren't even funded. For people choosing to volunteer, it only makes sense that one is nice to them, it's open source and my take was inspired by this https://youtu.be/H9GkSSWbw4c?si=aS0YgsuaKIJ2DFl0 . Your complaints should be directed to the company you pay to, to either build the tooling or encourage the ecosystem to build for it. And paystack has a lot of community builds, myself has built a couple, not everything is great, you end up with a lot of half baked solutions and the namespace paystack is already taken
